Chemistry is all around us. Everything you hear, see, smell, taste, and touch involves atoms and molecules, so it is essential to understand chemistry to understand the world around you. This course aims to teach you more advanced general chemistry topics that build off of the topics learned in General College Chemistry I. Based on the atomic understanding of molecules gained in CHEM 111, you will learn more advanced topics such as chemical kinetics and thermodynamics. This course will prepare you for a career in the natural sciences or medical professions.
